REFRIGIWEAR

Founded in 1954 in New York City, RefrigiWear was born from an intuition that led two American entrepreneurs to develop an absolute workwear innovation. Knowing very well the needs of workers involved in hostile work in very cold environments, such as cold rooms storage, they developed, with the support of the newly established textile fibers department of DuPontâ„¢, the first real innovation in the field of insulated clothing. The garments were initially called "Weather-Alls" and were an alternative to wearing heavy, uncomfortable wool jackets and several layers of bulky underwear. From that moment the brand's path followed a rapid development at a national level in the USA until the 90s when an original American brands passionate expert discovered it and began to import it in the Italian market, then European and now even to the most particular Japanese research stores. Today the brand is distributed worldwide with lines and garments that have become true lifestyle icons.
